A large Indian art greeting card featuring Vasanti Ragini, ca. 1710, from a Ragamala series — a painted Garland of Musical Modes.

Two elegantly dressed women gather flowers in a radiant spring landscape, surrounded by blossoms, golden foliage and the rich colours of the season. Warm saffron, red and green tones give the scene an almost sunlit glow, while the graceful figures and delicate botanical detail create a wonderfully serene sense of abundance and renewal.

More than a card
