At Strand Clothing, we believe in creating great designs with as little impact on the planet as possible. From the materials we use to our printing methods, we’re committed to making responsible choices every step of the way.

Sustainable Materials & Ethical Sourcing

 

T-Shirts & Apparel

• • Our women’s T-shirts are made from certified organic cotton by Ecologie by AWDis, and they’re PETA-Approved Vegan.

  • Bella + Canvas T-shirts are WRAP-certified, ensuring ethical labor and responsible manufacturing.

  • Gildan T-shirts follow Gildan’s Environmental Code of Practice (ECP) for sustainability.

  • Our Vanilla sublimation T-shirts are WRAP, SEDEX, or BSCI certified, meeting ethical labor standards.

 

Posters & Printed Goods

• • A3 posters are printed in England on 350gsm eucalyptus paper, made from sustainable sources and eco-printed with high-pigment, environmentally friendly toners.

  • Cards & postcards are printed in the UK on sustainably sourced card stock and are part of the Carbon Capture Programme.

 

Eco-Friendly Printing Methods

Screen Printing – We clean our screens using a non-chemical, soy-based solution, making the process safer for both the environment and our team.

Dye-Sublimation Printing – A sustainable, water-free printing method that produces zero waste.

Digital Printing – We use the latest eco-friendly digital technology with water-based inks.

 

Packaging & Recycling Contributions

We use 100% recycled, uncoated paper for our wrapping paper and swing tags.

As part of our extended producer responsibility (EPR), we contribute to recycling programs in Germany and France.

We know there’s always more to do, and we’re continually looking for new ways to improve our environmental practices. Every small step counts!
