A homage to Lunokhod 1, the first remote-controlled robot "rover" to freely move across the surface of an astronomical object beyond the Earth!

Lunokhod 1 (also known under a catchy name "vehicle 8ЕЛ№203") was delivered to the Moon's surface by the rocket Luna 17 and spent 11 lunar days (or 10.5 Earth's months) there - rather than the planned 3 lunar days - working hard and sending valuable data until the last transmission on the 11th of September 1971. It is still sitting there now on a lunar surface, perhaps waiting for its next mission! ♡
