Boats and Setting Sun (Gyosen to Yuuhi 漁船と夕日: given title, official title is unknown for this rare work) by Ohara Kōson (Shōson), c. 1920.

One of the rarest landscapes from the renown master.
Fishing boats, one with a cast net, are floating gently on the tranquil evening sea.
It's a magical hour of the day, when the sun is already setting, but it's not dark yet and the sea and the sky and everything else is bathed in transluscent hues of the sun.

★ Reproduced from an archive image, respectfully and lovingly restored and enhanced digitally, to remove the non-artistic blemishes and colour fading.
