"Two Crows and the Moon" (Karasu niwa to Tsuki 鴉ニ羽と月 ) by Ohara Kōson (Shōson), 1927.

A bare branch descends across the clear sky, pale moon cradled in its light curve. Two crows perch on it, like two notes on the staff, a chord breaking the silent tranquility of the night.
