A collection of five large greeting cards celebrating the art of Utagawa Hiroshige, one of Japan's great masters of ukiyo-e.

Each card features a different woodblock print, selected from some of Hiroshige's most beautiful and intriguing views of Edo-period Japan. The generous A5 format gives the artworks greater impact and makes the cards lovely to keep as well as send.

- 5 different Hiroshige artworks
- Blank inside for your own message
- Deep Japanese red envelopes included
- A5 – 14.8 × 21 cm (5.8 × 8.3 in)
- Fully printed front and back

More than a card

Turn each card over to discover the story behind the artwork. The fully printed back includes the title and date of the original print, a short introduction to the scene, and our A Closer Look feature — highlighting a detail, story or compositional trick that might otherwise be missed.

Together, the five cards offer a little journey through Hiroshige's Japan, exploring not only the places he depicted but some of the wonderful ways he invites us to look at them.

Beautiful enough to keep as well as send, the cards are suitable for birthdays, thank-yous, correspondence or simply writing to someone just because.

Printed in rich colour on silk-finish art card, giving the original woodblock colours depth and vibrancy with a soft sheen. The large A5 format also makes the cards lovely for framing afterwards as miniature art prints.

Printed in the UK using eco-friendly toner on card made from sustainably sourced pulp and produced as part of the Carbon Capture Programme.

Also available: individual Hiroshige cards and another set of five and ten.
