"Krishna and Radha in a Bower" is a notable Indian artwork originating from the Gita Govinda tradition. The Gita Govinda is a Sanskrit text composed by the 12th-century Indian poet Jayadeva, which depicts the love between the Hindu god Krishna and his beloved Radha. This particular artwork, often found in illustrated manuscripts, depicts a scene from the Gita Govinda where Krishna and Radha are shown in a bower, surrounded by lush verdure and flowers.
