Arthur Rackham (1867 – 1939) was a master illustrator of the Edwardian era, renowned for his exquisite ink and watercolour drawings, filled with fantasy creatures, fairies and all things haunting and dream-like. "Like the sundial, my paint box counts no hours but sunny ones"...
(Please note that the image has a subtle halftone-like effect - it is not a photograph, so it does not have, nor it intends to have a photographic sharpness. It has a lovely vintage print texture to its strokes and colours).
