A beautifully curated set of ten postcards featuring exquisite works by Ogata Gekkō — each card adorned with a different graceful scene from his series "Bijin Hana Kurabe" (美人花競 : "Women Compared to Flowers") and "Fūzoku Bijin Zukushi" ( 婦人風俗尽: "Customs and Manners of Women").

Gekkō was a master of the Meiji-era ukiyo-e revival — known for his elegant women, flowing brushwork, and delicate use of colour and light. These prints capture fleeting gestures and quiet beauty with subtlety and grace. Each image has been carefully selected and reproduced with love and attention to detail ♡

We’ve styled these cards to echo the quiet charm of real early 20th-century Japanese postcards, while keeping them fresh and usable:

- the word 郵便はがき (postcard) printed in reverse, just as on old Meiji and Taishō-era cards;
- a gently textured “stamp area” with a different vintage-inspired pattern on each card;
- the original title calligraphy and Gekkō’s signature faithfully retained from the artwork;
- and the small but special detail: “First Printing” printed in English on the back, as a nod to collectors and art lovers alike (only available on the first 50 sets printed)

Each card has a satin finish for rich colour on the front, and a traditional blank postcard reverse ready for your message: can be written on with all types of instruments.
